NATIONAL YOUTH ACTION CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP
Princeton Day School won the National Youth Action Chess Championship
The K-3 team won first place in the National Youth
Action Tournament this weekend in Hershey, PA.
PDS had 17 children playing at the tournament, in
two divisions- 13 played in K-3 and 4 in K-6. The players were:
K-6:

K-3:
Jack Sheridan
Jeremy Berman
Harrison Okun
Sean Hudson
Peter Pain
Harper Joseph
Jeremy LeMenager
Danny Goldman

Nicholas Iooffreda
Joel Pena
Noam Yakoby
The following players won trophies in the K-3 section (there
were 124 players in this section):
Danny Goldman 9th place
Sean Hudson 12th place
Joel Pena 25th place
DJ Modzelewski 26th place
Liam Hunt 27th place
PDS thanks to Gigi Goldman for being the "great organizer".
The kids displayed great ssportsmanship throughout the tournament, which consisted of 9 rounds
over 2 days. And most importantly, they all had a great time.
