Under the direction of Miguel Iniguez, with the assistance of Oscar Garcia, one hundred and twenty five kids received chess curriculum classes once a week during the entire scholar year. From there, many of the attendants join also the Chess Club in the afternoon to have more intensive chess instruction. On weekends at least once a month, a chess tournament is held internally, but this year TRCS Chess Club has decided to open the doors for schools in the neighborhood. We expect between forty and sixty chess players whom will be disputing the trophy “Monte Joffee”, famous for its beauty and because kids decided to named it after the name of our principal.
