First Steps

This program introduces children to the essential fundamentals of chess in a structured and accessible way. Students will identify each of the pieces, understand their value in the game, and learn the specific rules governing their movements. Through clear explanations, they will learn how pieces interact on the board, establishing a solid foundation for logical thinking and basic strategy. This is the starting point for new members of the Chess Kids NY academy.
